EVERGLADES Series
Nathan Coe’s newest series is set in the sprawling, isolated wetlands of the Everglades National Park and Big Cypress National Preserve along the southern coast of Florida. Coe explored more than 2,000 miles of this marshy terrain over the course of nearly 3 years before finally selecting the ideal locations to capture these stunning landscapes. During his most recent visit to the area in the Fall of 2025, he was pleasantly surprised to find that recent heavy rains had created the ideal swamp island feel he had long been searching for. The resulting photographs are among the largest and most detailed works Coe has produced to date.
Intended to be framed and hung in large format, Coe's goal with this series is to evoke a transformative experience for the viewer. As the physical journey out to these marshlands can often be quite treacherous, Coe has brought their otherworldly beauty directly to us with lifesize prints that make us feel like we are right there with him.
